PYRIPHLEGETHON started in 2014 as a tribute to the early black metal pioneers like Master’s Hammer, Samael (especially the demo’s), Rotting Christ, Necro Schizma etc. The first two albums included a lot of heavy metal influences to. This forth album is a return to the original sound: black metal like the last 30 years never happened. Lyrically PYRIPHLEGETHON is primarily inspired by occult horror movies from the 70’s. For fans of: early Samael, Beherit and Necro Schizma.
